Adrian Rivera-Rodriguez
Graduate Researcher

Adrian received a B.S. in Behavioral Neuroscience with a minor in Social and Behavioral Sciences Methodology from The University of Kansas in 2016. He is currently a 5th year PhD student in the Social Psychology program at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and a recipient of the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. Under the supervision of Dr. Nilanjana Dasgupta, Adrian conducts research that examines the impact of various types of group related threats on intergroup relations and interactions. Adrian is also involved in a community-based research partnership with Dr. Evelyn Mercado and local public schools to investigate the effects of racial inequalities in K-12 education on the academic motivation and performance of students of color.
